1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Lyken, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Lyken is a household financial tracking tool. It helps you record and monitor bills, income, assets, debts, and savings goals. It is not a financial institution, bank, adviser, or broker.
3. Not financial advice
Nothing in Lyken — including AI-generated responses, summaries, projections, or any other output — constitutes personal financial advice. The information provided is general in nature. You should seek independent, licensed financial advice before making financial decisions.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may not share your account or use it on behalf of others without their consent.
5. Your data
You own the data you enter into Lyken. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Lyken available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lyken is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial loss, data loss, or other damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any information it provides.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Lyken after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
